Penny has been married to her husband, Steve for over 34 years & has lived in Enid all of her adult life. They have raised three grown sons, Jamie, Jeremy, and Joel in the Enid Public School system. She also has three grandchildren, Morgan, Ansley, and Ryan.

She has been active in the past with Junior Welfare League, served as past President of Glenwood P.T.A., past President of Enid Coordinating Council, Boy Scouts of America, Enid Wrestling Club, Enid Football Boosters, a member of First United Methodist Church, and is currently the Vice President of Enid Metro Assocation of Realtors.
